"Dr. Janine is an amazing career coach and resume extraordinaire. I first met her through a referral in the UC Davis Alumni Network. Moving back to the Bay Area after living abroad, I wanted to pivot from the airline industry to the tech industry. After several attempts to apply for a new job, I was unsuccessful in securing interviews and knew that I needed to seek professional help.
Janine sat down with me to go through my resume line item by line item. She challenged me to focus on interchangeable skillsets such as customer service and communication skills. Janine advised me on how to make my resume more desirable to employers, updated formatting, and aligned minimum qualifications.
With the revised resume, I immediately received a handful of interviews which ultimately landed my first tech job! Several years later, I've also hired Janine as an Executive Coach to prepare me for the next step in my career journey. Her warm and friendly personality, professionalism, and knowledge is worth every penny!"
